At POSCO MC Materials, we prioritize a range of social issues, continuously striving to fulfill our societal responsibilities. Every month, our dedicated staff members actively participate in diverse voluntary activities, with a particular emphasis on assisting vulnerable segments of society.
  • Educational and Employment Support for the Future Generation
    POSCO MC Materials provides state-of-the-art drone equipment and similar resources to the Gwangyang Agricultural High School, facilitating the integration of advanced technology in farming practices. Moreover, we hold ESG-related contests and design courses to bolster the job prospects of talented local individuals.

  • Volunteer Activities Concentrated on Local Vulnerable Groups
    We organize staff-involved volunteer work targeting single parents, children raised by grandparents, and the elderly, among others. In particular, our efforts to purchase groceries for vulnerable residents of the Gwangyang region simultaneously stimulate agricultural income and provide care for these communities. Our initiatives also include maintaining the environment of renowned locations in Gwangyang through activities such as plogging.

  • 1% Sharing Campaign
    The employees of POSCO MC Materials are carrying out the '1% Sharing Movement'. This movement involves donating a portion of salaries to the care layers of the local community, with the company matching the amount donated by employees as a matching grant. Through this fund, our employees are striving to solve social problems by supporting healthy growth for children and cheering for multicultural families.
  • Local Community Outreach
    POSCO MC Materials has consistently engaged in community service initiatives, fostering awareness and a sense of responsibility for local social concerns. Specifically, our partnership with Wolpa Village in Gwangyang-eup, Usan-ri has led to various projects aimed at improving living conditions in the area. Our initiatives range from supplying necessities and providing heating and cooling equipment to enhancing the village's environment, all contributing to communal prosperity.
